Tips
for Your Towel Warmer
Use
your towel warmer not only to dry your towels,
but also your pool towels, swim suits and
delicate items of clothing like sweaters and
scarves.
Guess what? A towel
warmer is virtually maintenance-free regardless
of the type, size or how it’s mounted – wall,
floor, or freestanding. Once it’s installed, you
start using it and your towels come off the
racks snuggly warm and comforting to the touch.
This is why there won’t be much in the way of
tips, but we do have a few that we can share
with you.
You experience that first blast of a chill as
you step out of the shower. Use your towel
warmer to heat up your bathroom and wrap the
towel around you as soon as you finish your
shower. The warm towel will help reduce that
chilly feeling. You won’t dread your winter
morning routine that much because of this
brilliant thought-out accessory for your home.
There’s the added advantage of not yanking up
the thermostat for more heat.
Use your towel warmer not only to dry your
towels, but also your pool towels, swim suits
and delicate items of clothing like sweaters and
scarves. You can also use your towel warmer for
baby’s clothes and blankets.
If your home is heated by hot water, select a
towel warmer design that will evenly distribute
the hot water through the towel warmer.
If you have not purchased a towel warmer, choose
one with a timer that you can program for a
number of days in advance. Choose a model with
different heat levels instead of just one, and
like laptops, wireless towel warmers spare you
from the trouble of installing wires that stick
out like a sore thumb.
If you’ve recently refurbished your bathroom or
bedroom, going upscale with expensive features
and accessories, you may want to consider a wood
cabinet warmer; that is, if you can afford it.
If you have limited floor space, select towel
warmers that are mountable on the wall. It may
also serve as a decorative piece to complement
the room’s furniture. Or else you can always go
for the portable ones that fold up easily when
not in use.
Bear in mind that some models take as long as 60
minutes to warm up. Ask your manufacturer or
distributor if there are models that take a
shorter time to warm up towels. If you’re in a
rush to leave your house, that towel may not be
warm enough for you.
